AMA ParkPilot Membership has been acceptable at all prior Flite Fest events. Should be this year as well.

I also have a 9 hour drive. I have brought my pop-up camper every year. Much better sleeping off the ground, especially if you have back issues.

Stay for as much of the event as you can. Friday and Saturday are usually the busiest days.

Plenty of Volunteer opportunities for your wife if she gets bored. ;)

Out of curiosity, what sort of volunteer opportunities do they have for those that aren't interested in RC? (I'm thinking about if FFW returns to California - I'm going to drag my father along, and my wife may be drug out for a camping trip)

I know that I've heard that there are things to do besides build planes and fly planes at FliteFest, for people who just need a little bit of non-flight decompression - can anyone who's been give some examples? I know I can bring rocks for my wife to paint and have her do that, but I'm worried that people are going to see that and start asking her to paint nose art on their planes. :ROFLMAO::devilish:
