This is looking a lot more like a finished plane now that the top steps and electronics pod are installed!I did some more work on the KFm3 wing today! My main achievement was getting the middle steps folded over and glued in place. I made it harder on myself by using Gorilla Glue with a 2 hr clamp time, so even with the weight benefits I might go back to hot glue for attaching the top steps.
I'm also going to try out ES9052 servos and a dual-band FrSky receiver in this build, which are both new components to me. I've actually had a Tandem X18 for a few years now, but I've only used a multiprotocol module in the add-on bay up until now since I had so many Spektrum receivers lying around!Should be an exciting maiden when it's all done!
I still need to install the electronics for real though, this was just to get a sense of the layout. There definitely won't be much extra space to work with!

Looks good! Do you think I should stick with minimal skins for the Mini's, or do a few more to make the build easier?

idk, someone else coined the term. But the fuselage not being as strong due to the lack of internal structure? I tend to do my like 13th squadron planes.
