Finally had a day with weather decent enough to maiden the Midi Mambo. It's been ready for over two weeks, but I don't like doing maiden flights on windy days.
She took of just fine, needing only a few clicks of rudder. Loops are good, rolls are (naturally) barrel-ly. My wife took the launch video, then took the sticks for a few laps around the field.
360 in. sq. wing, weight 26oz., Turnigy 1100 Kv motor on a 3S1500 pack, 8X4 APC prop. I'm in the process of writing up a build article and will submit a package to the Outerzone shortly.
