Be careful with orange receiver

Why didn't I search for this thread a week ago?

I just bought two OrangeRX's last week for my two new builds and had both fail within minutes. I thought I was having power issues, but I replaced them with my AR610 and everything worked as expected.

It's a good thing I caught it before I got my new bird in the air. I had it installed for a few days getting everything ready. I just happened to luck out and had it crap out on final pre-flight at the field. I replaced it with the second one and the same issue. After a few seconds it just stops responding. I ripped the AR610 out of my prototype and put it in the new build and worked flawlessly for two flights.

NOPE! Never again.

Could someone try this without servos attached? Just do the same test (move the controls.)

Out of curiosity, which Orange receiver was it that you had problems with? Specific model? I've used some 618XL receivers, no problems with them, unless you count the issue where my ESC failed due to overheating and dropped power to the receiver. The issue, though, is that they're not diversity receivers like the AR610 or AR400.

I have two of the R615X models. Both have the same issue.
