Binding a Radiomaster Boxer to FT EZ3 First Flyers MKR2

So I got this kit for my 4yr old just got done building the EZ Canard. Once I realized I installed the props on the wrong sides (so the plane flies fwd. vs. backwards) and added two nuts to get the CG right, I walked out on the back deck for the maiden flight... and the controller fell out of my hand... and it no longer works. The motors went haywire and had no more response to the throttle on the transmitter. I see they don't sell the transmitter separately...

So, does anybody know how to bind a Radiomaster Boxer to one of these things? Otherwise I just spent a lot of money on some fancy gliders... with LED lights on the wings!

Unfortunately, I don't believe the boxer is compatible with the EZ pack. I could be wrong though. I would recommend contacting the FT store and asking if you can order a new one.

If you have the 4-in-1 multiprotocol module, it should be possible.

Yeah, it should be the same as doing it in the TX16s, just with a black and white screen instead of color.

And this is assuming you have the Boxter 4in1 and not the ELRS.

I can confirm as other posts have judged that the RadioMaster Pocket with the multi protocol internal module does support the RF protocol of the EZ line.

Well I got it to bind any it immediately went to >0% throttle... that was exciting! Unfortunately, I'm struggling with the Edge TX stuff again... I did see this thread, but it provides just enough details to be frustrating. Like I said over there, I'm not at the point I wish I would have bought a TX16, just so it might be easier to copy settings off of the youtube videos I've seen.

One would think that with only throttle to worry about it would be simpler to program... but the differential thrust has me wondering... any threads you can point me to that discuss how to do this on a Boxer?

The EZ flight controller should take care of the differential thrust. Can't remember if it is the yaw or aileron channel that does it. Will have to get mine out and play. It needs to go into a model I finished a little while ago.
