After finding a Brumby Trainer balsa "kit" that my dad bought from Airborne magazine 18 years ago, that he never found the time to build, I have decided to tackle the task of building it, with no balsa experience whatsoever
I am a very technical person with much wood and metal working experience, so I don't class myself as a complete noob as such.
Here starts my journey:
Brumby Trainer.
Plans laid out and covered with clear vinyl sheeting. This plan seems to fit perfectly over a standard internal door.
Some of the laser cut parts that came with the "kit". looks like there is a lot of pieces to be built myself, I was hoping that there was going to be a lot more laser cut components...
Got some time to cut out all the laser cut parts, all stacked and sanded to the same size.
A stack of Balsa arrived yesterday, havnt had a chance to start cutting out further parts.
Where to start, Fuselage or Wing?
This is all for now, Until next time.
