Build-report: scratchbuild circular quadcopter..

Hi there people!

I've been wanting to scratch-build a quad for quite a while now.. Partly to show others it's not hard to do and/or expensive.. After a while I had some ideas for the quad, and tonight I got the project started :)

Here is my project kick-off.. In which I will show the basic shape / idea:

Hi there people!

and.. there it is. the first progress report in this project :)
The frame has been finished.. The motors have been mounted :)
The rest of tis video is mainly about my choice to make this quad have dihedral.. the why of that...
Hope it's usefull!

A quick-short update today! The ESC's aren't in yet, regretably.. But I did manage to get some other work done on the quad.. Mainly in the looks department :)

Et voila! the real building of the quad is all done now! :D
In this video I'll show you what it looks like with all electronics installed + landing legs and a battery-tray :)


I am going to be doing a seperate KK2.1 setup movie.. That will be up soon after this update :)

And YES! Here is finally is :) *The first video of this flying saucer with actuall flight footige! :D


In future video's I'll allso take her outside offcourse :)

Some outdoor flying as well maybe?? SURE! There was quite a bit of wind.. But the flying sauser survived ;)
