Carbon Z T-28

Hi,
I recently bought a Carbon Z T-28 and did the maiden today. Unfortunately I flew off grass and the nose gear strut became bent. I know this is a common problem among E-Flite tricycle retracts as my friend was flying a 1.2M BnF Basic T-28 Trojan from E-Flite as well, and the gear bent to a point where it snapped off after a slightly hard landing. Is there a way to resolve this problem? I really liked the Carbon Z Trojan in flight, but it would be great if there was a solution to the gear struts bending.
Thanks

Unfortunately, I can't think of any way besides reinforcing it with little pieces of carbon fiber or aluminum.
