I've got the urge to build a new airplane and have decided to sell my trusty Bixler. It's a ready-to-go FPV setup, and all that's needed to get flying is a viewing screen and a 3S 2200mah pack. This has been my only FPV plane for a few years, and it's a reliable setup with good performance. It has one of my laser-cut all-in-one FPV pods, so it's very clean and only has a couple of connectors between the fuselage and gear instead of the usual mess. There's a handy Deans jumper on the outside of the pod so that the battery can be connected and disconnected without removing it. Here are the rest of the features:
- Turnigy 9X radio with FrSky DIY module (internal mod) and ER9X firmware and blue LED backlight
- Eagle Tree OSD Pro system with Guardian stabilization and RTH
- KPC VSN700 camera
- Tiny Mic
- 900MHz 400mW video transmitter with low pass filter
- LC power filter
- IBCrazy Vee antenna
- 900MHz video receriver & patch antenna
- 2212/06 motor with 6x3 prop
- 35A ESC and separate switching BEC
- HXT900 servos
- Custom laser cut pod, motor, and ESC mount
- Command hook/rubber band wing retention mod
Everything is properly set up and working great. There's a bit of hangar rash here and there, but overall condition is good. The radio has been configured so that stabilization can be turned on and off with a 2-position switch, and a 3-position switch handles all of the on-screen OSD programming options. RTH can be triggered with another switch, and also turns on automatically if the radio is turned off or loses link. I've fitted the FrSky receiver with a custom RSSI converter board that displays the signal strength percentage on the OSD.
The ground station is a wooden hinged box I've put together. It has a locking mechanism that holds it open at about the right angle for the patch antenna, so using it is just a matter of powering it up and setting it on the ground.
I'm looking for $500 for everything. It's available for local pickup in the San Diego area, though I could probably ship it if need be. Also, I could separate the radio and/or ground station for people who have their own. Feel free to ask any questions or for more pictures.
Thanks!
