Differential thrust with throttle cut

I'm building the Sea Duck and I need some help with the throttle cut when setting up differential thrust.
I followed this article https://www.flitetest.com/articles/differencial-thrust-setup-on-a-spektrum-dx9 and I got the differential part to work great but when I set the throttle cut it only cuts one motor, how do I set it to cut both?

Sounds like you need to mix your other channel (the one you’re using for your extra motor) with your cut switch. Don’t know that you can or if it will work, but that’s my guess. Good luck.

That's my guess too program it up like you would do with flaps.

@jamiesmed34 I figured this out on my A-10 build to cut both motors. It involved an extra mix. I’ll send u details when I get home later.

I managed to do it too on my seaduck, had a -100 offset on the second motor. I also had a mix to 0 out the rudder as well so nothing would fire on rudder input.

Resurrecting this thread after setting up differential thrust on my Sea Duck with a Spektrum DX6e. Hope this saves someone some heartburn. I followed the FT video but didn't like that there was not a true throttle cut - if you hit the rudder the right motor would still turn. Found this video and then transcribed my settings:
