Foamboard

Hi
As far as I know, foamboard has got a film on the outer sides(paper or a thin plastic layer). Building with depron is a bit more expensive but works great. Out here in South Africa we get the foamboard from a place called "maizys", they sell Perspex and the vinal they use on branding on cars. Hopefully you can look for some place there by you.
Cheers

Hi Pe4er,
welcome to the forum.

We have some Germans here on the forum, so if you don't know how to ask something, you can just do so in the German subsection:
http://forum.flitetest.com/forumdisplay.php?144-Germany

Anyway, we weren't able to find proper foamboard in Germany yet. People have suggested to use Depron and just add tape instead of the laminated paper of the foamboard though.

Whatever you do, stay away from Kapa foamboard it's more than twice as heavy than DTFB.

I got some Airplac 1 foamboard from Isopor which ist still heavier, but didn't really get a chance to test it yet.

But the Flite Test crew announced that it's working on selling Flite Test foamboard in the future. That's foamboard specificially designed and made for them by Adams - the guys behind Adams Readi Board / Dollar Tree foamboard.
