Elevons and differential thrust

I have a Spektrum DX6e, I'm trying to program elevons and differential thrust. When the wings are normal, I can go into channel assign, assign the Aux channel to include the throttle, then add the mixing, and get the differential thrust. However, when the aircraft type is changes to elevons the Aux channel is assigned to Flap on the RX Port Assignments screen. I can't seem to set it back to Aux 1.

I immediately answered my own question. You can use Channel 5 (gear) and it works. Go figure.
