night vapor programming

I love my night vapor. It's just a fun little plane to play around with.
I just wish I could understand the programming set up directions.
I have a Spektrum DX6e I'm trying to program, and the directions state for the DX6e:
Go to CHANNEL ASSIGN
Channel input configuration:
GEAR: Switch A
AUX 1: Button l

Then it tells me to go to FUNCTION LIST
Set SERVO SETUP Reverse AUX 1

Ya know....as much as I've searched my DX6e I have yet to find any buttons other than the BIND button, so I have NO idea what "Button l" is!
I DO know that whatever I have setup right now must be the safe mode (I think), because if I switch the A switch to 1 I have NO control at all.

Evidently I haven't figured out what "Button" I'm supposed to program.

Help!

Button I IS the bind button, but you can also reassign that to whatever switch you like, it doesn't have to be the ones they want you to use. The most important part is go into system setup, channel assign and assign the channels to the switches you want, switch a and button I, I dont think the vaoor does it itself

OK, but show me where/how I can pull up Button l in the menu? Plus it says to reverse the servo, but I don't know how - I saw the servo setup said 100 and -100, and I reversed what they were to -100 and 100. Whenever I flip the A switch I get what I ASSUME is "SAFE" mode, but if I flip it the other direction I have NO control at all.
Thank you for your response.

this may help with switch assignment

Thanks, I will try it when I get another vapor. I flew mine too much, didn't give the motor time to cool off, it melted the mount enough that the torque of the prop twisted the motor out of alignment with the gear. I know I can get the gear box and motor separately, may go that route.

Thanks for the help. Found it.
Sorry, I forgot that spektrum has their own manuals, but most menus have a second screen, I suggest your head through your tx's manual or at least skim through it if you are confused about something (much faster normally), also for help YouTube is your best friend, as can be google. (Just teccomending faster ways to get a similar or better result)
