love the design but the servo for the elevator works ok on low rates but once in high rates it goes to the extreme and then resets to about half way back to centre. so is there a way to trim ,adjust endpoints or a way to fix this problem.
thanks

Oeh, I haven't had this happen to me. I'll see if I can replicate the problem and then try work a solution to it.
I generally prefer to fly in high rates, and haven't had this issue, so will be interested to see if anyone else has had this problem!

I have 3 of the EZ 3 ch Packs, and they all do that, too.
I place the control rod in the closest hole the elevator, and leave it in low rates, and it works fine.

Hey AgentC! made the plan, and then got the power pack, slight problem, the EZ powerpack comes with motors set up with pusher, is there a way I can swap them to tractor?

Update: me being the idiot that I am, I didn’t think that I could just switch the motor to the other side (I think)
Update #2: Me being the idiot that I am, thought that that ^ was gonna work....obviously it didn’t, so I switched the props

AgentC updated EZ Bronco with a new update entry:

Streamlined Plans

With the sad demise of the 3-Channel EZ Pack, I have now changed the plans to be solely 2-Channel. I've also streamlined the build and removed a lot of the additional options, in favour of a much cooler 'Crash Test' themed skin.
As I've been using the central fuselage that @Addicted created in my recent builds, I've scrapped the original and now only have his on the plans. Thanks, @Addicted!
I've uploaded two PDF's, one with hust the instruction sheet...

@AgentC I'm starting up a stem Program in South Africa.
Would this plane be appropriate?
And may I use your design for the stem program?

Regards Matthew
Hey Matthew,

Yup! This would be a great STEM plane. It flies great as a Chuck glider and with the EZ pack for RC.
If you have little ones using it as just a chuck glider, add some strength to the booms, as those will be the parts that they break first ;)

I need to do one of these over winter. My Dad worked for North American Aviation back in the day and was instrumental in the fuel measurement and some navigation systems.

Cheers!

Is it possible to get the 3 channel plans still? I have plenty of little parts laying around and would not mind giving the 3ch a go. :)

Here's version 1.4 for you. :)
I loved the little Bronco as a 3-channel! So nimble!

Awesome! I have some quad brushed FCs that should be perferect for this. Just need to switch one channel out to PWM for a servo.

Edit:. Actually found another stash that have 4 brushed, and 4 pwm. :)

Could plausibly use some linear UMX servos to add ailerons too.... Winter indoor season is going to be fun!!

Interesting.... I always thought these Beef's Brushed boards were F3 based. They are actually F1.... Good thing I have horded some older releases of dRonin firmware that will work on them. The boards are based on the NAZE. Picked up an FTDI cable today to start working on testing the hardware. Can set the FC up to do the mixing, or do straight passthrough. Will probably let the FC do it for simplicity's sake. Also printed out the V1.4 and V1.5 files.

Cheers!
