Hey folks,
Has anyone had issues with the "FT EZ Power Add On" motors being opposite direction than expected (ex. I expect it to be a 'pusher prop', but it's spinning as a 'puller')?
I got the FT EZ First Flyers Complete Starter Kit earlier this week for my two boys. It was super easy to put together following along with the videos. We got all three planes put together, using all three sets of control boards, motors, and props. When we went out to fly them today, we started with the canard wing plane, which used the control board and motors that were included in the box with the controller. Everything was fine, other than I think our W&B is off and needs some tweaking and it won't turn right. We ran down a battery and crashed it enough times that we decided to try a different airframe out. When we tried either of the other two planes (which were each using the control board, motors, and props that were in the separate little "FT EZ Power Add On" baggies inside the box), the props are spinning the opposite direction. These are all 'pusher prop' airframes, but the motor/prop combinations for the two other airframes are spinning like a 'puller prop'. I can feel the wind rushing off of the prop in the opposite direction it should be going.
I've double and triple checked connections on the motors - I know they 'should' only connect to the control board one way, but I made sure I didn't ham-fist them into being reversed polarity. Has anyone else seen this issue? Anything else that I'm blatantly missing?
TIA,
CJ
