Well, we sure don't want our props to be floppy.........There's a limerick in there somewhere!

Kress had a prop that was floppy
and it made his flying all sloppy
The Drachen up-ended
It couldn't be mended.
And thus ends that poor air-jalopy.

While they look cool, those giant props on out outrunner motors will probably be less efficient than a real prop in every way.

I'm sure they will be. They work by re-directing the backward, and the reaction of it as apposed the the pressure difference. i might try a rubber band power type prop as well. I still need to get this assembled.

The Limerick was perfect. Well done.

Last night I added a top to the canoe. and made the forward wing mount.

CG calculators are woefully unprepared for this plane.

The wings have been made to be removable.

Here I added a faux propeller set.

Ready for a toss. Wind is supposed to get nutty, so I may wait. If I can't try it, I will add some color instead. Any ideas?

Looks like clear dope linen to me, so a tan color.

Glide Test check for CG.
I made a raw toss, and saw was too far back @ the mid pontoon. Then I balanced per above, and started at the spar of the middle wing.

Good job on finding the correct CG. I'm sure that was no easy task.

The calculator got it quite close, and the three wings seemed to dampen the instability.
