Ok Pilots,
I will be making a purchase soon and I just want to maximize my experience. First off I have no experience when it comes to flying anything RC controlled. With that said I am trying to make sure that my list is complete so I can fly when my build is done. As my first build I want to keep it simple, but if I can spend a few extra bucks here or there that will save me from having to upgrade to a better transmitter/receiver combo, motor ect. then I'd be happy to do so.
First things first, the versa will be built in a pusher configuration, for durability, and well that's just what I want.
So I want to learn and enjoy flying, and would like to maximize my flight time for fun, so motor , prop, and battery will be key players. I'm ok with speed/performance taking a back seat.
Of you guys flying are there any endurance set ups for either of these builds?
And for my build I need help with a shopping list:
-My first preference is the bigger Versa Wing https://store.flitetest.com/ft-versa-wing-speed-build-kit/
-Since I want pusher configuration I need to go with Power Pack B: https://store.flitetest.com/power-pack-b-fixed-wing-small/
BTW there is a dis-junction in the build video as it shows them building a tractor plane.
- I can add the Lumenier 2250mAh 3s 35c Lipo Battery straight into the cart, I am also up for other better options
So then it looks like I just need a Transmitter/Reciever combo and should be good right? Any recommendations?
