I haven't seen this answered anywhere else, so forgive me if it has.

Will the waterproof Dollar Tree foambaord be sold by the sheet at FliteFest?

Last year, they had boxes of the regular DTF set out for free. I wonder if they'll do that again with the waterproof?

Yes! I asked about getting a box and was told from Jen Bixler that it would be available. :)

Great! Thanks fort he indo. I'd love to get a few sheets to make some floatplanes, since I prefer to scratchbuild the FT planes. Hopefully we'll find out one day if it will ever be sold in Dollar Tree stores.

That would be very nice if they do!

Build another!
I've previous plans to be at the outdoor Tecumseh show with SWMBO, her sister and sister's grand kids Wednesday night. I'm hoping to leave here Thursday for arrival between 10 and noon. Now I feel guilty, but not too much. That show is pretty good. ;) I've signed up for shifts Friday and Saturday but If there is any need after about 3 Thursday I'm more than willing to help out.

Looks like I'll be there about 4, maybe 5, on Wednesday after all!

I was given the tiniest opening to miss the show and I took it. May cost later, but I took it. ;) Been packing like a fool today!

Hi all! Does anyone know if there will be a vendor at FF16 where I can pick up a UBLOX (or similar) GPS module? I toasted mine while testing and getting ready for tomorrow morning's departure to Ohio.

Hi, I currently live in Portugal and right now, I'm planning the possibility of going to FF2017 and I already figured I'll need about 1500€ (USD 1679.40). My only doubt is the cost of registering to the event and what is included. Can someone give me some help? And by the way, can anyone tell me if it is possible to bring a rc plane or just the minimum electronics to the US. Thanks

Hi. Just do it! You wouldn't be disappointed :) As for what to bring, I travelled hand luggage only and took just my transmitter and a couple of receivers with me. Everything else I needed I bought whilst I was there.

Hope to see you there! Several countries were represented at Flite Fest this year, and like Andy above, previous international guests should be able to advise you with any travel tips. It's sure worth the trip, and should make for an amazing adventure.
