It's about time for someone to come up with a SR-71 Blackbird!

We've all been waiting for one... Tried to design one myself but never got very far. Hopefully someone better than I can design one and post it on this thread. If you have a design feel free to post the plans and pics here.

Yeah, I designed, built, flew my SR-71 using 2 5 bladed 64 mm EDF's. Doesn't have the looks, it's simplistic, to keep the weight down, and had to solve the flight environment problems that existed. Being old school, just used paper to do a rough scale, since this is a tough bird to get to fly. Works even being chucked by hand. No gyro needed. Used FFF during those days.

Worked on finding data on inlet cone(small reduction on thrust) but after the 25th flight, had to use EDF's for other projects.

Projects like the A-10 Warthog, F-117, DarkStar, and SR-71 all have to be looked at from the aerodynamics viewpoint. Not just CG's.
