Scottie -

Very nice Spitfire build! You'll have to show us how you did your wing fillets, nose, canopy, etc. it's a looker, for sure.

BTW, my heritage is Scottish - seven generations back, but still. Our name (Ketcherside) originated in Northumberland, but the ancestors moved north for a bit before coming to the States. I've been to Scotland only once, alas. Would go back in a heartbeat.

Hi Tim,

Where about are you flying your plane?

I'm just about to build a FT versa pusher style. I live in Yatton which is just outside Bristol.

I also have a mate who has built the spitfire.

Have you still got your versa?

Dan.

Hi Dan, sorry for the late response, totally missed the notification. I still have the versawing, yes. I live in Bradley Stoke, which has very few large open spaces with few people, so I fly in Yate mostly, but am now also considering building a tricopter also, so that I don't have to travel so far and can therefore fly more often; the versawing goes so fast it disappears into the distance before you know it, it really needs a large space.

Cheers,
Tim.
