I tried to get a pair of FPV goggles on aliexpress the other day and they were $75....until checkout their was $145 extra fees.....

man…its pretty mind blowing whats happening. 142% tariffs….we all need to process that, absorb that…that is mind blowing.

At these levels of tariff, you really don't want to be buying stuff you don't absolutely have to have. Tariffs come and go and it seems stoopid to me that I have to pay (exaggeration for effect) $200 for a mini servo that used to be worth $10, and could go back to $10 next week. Realize that my newest radio is closing on 20 years old, my oldest actually qualifies for social security.

Yeah same here....The batteries I keep! LOL
No actually I am becoming more careful as I am getting more and more batteries like 10-20 stored in my safe vs 1 or 2...especially with having 6S now!

woke up this morning with this thought…
RC planes have nearly tripled…a plane that was $100 i now $250/$260…
you all work on your own cars or trucks? ever hear of say Denso? Or NGK? Or Duralast?
40% of Fords components are made in the USA, the rest imported, the three major suppliers are china, mexico, japan. Chevy has similar numbers.
Ford & Chevy are assembled in the USA not 100% manufactured, with the majority of their parts coming from China.
in 12-18 months once stock has turned American made automobiles will be completely unaffordable….just like our RC planes are now for the every day person who isnt sitting on stacks of cash.

Hopefully 12-18 months it will be resolved......My uncle works at denso so I hope it doesn't effect his job.....

Yeah he is a pretty high tech guy who does robots programming and electrical maintenance.
