I've used the document laminating film on a couple of airplanes and I really like it. Covering with heat shrink film is my weakest skill and I find document laminating film easy to put on. It is very light weight and won't warp delicate balsa frames designed for tissue covering. It shrinks better than some other covering films I have used. I haven't gone as far as covering the film with doped tissue. Seems like a lot of trouble. I airbrush on a couple of light coats of acrylic paint. But if you insist on the look of tissue that is the way to go.Thanks go to TooJung2Die for the covering idea, I'm still a bit confused on it, but sure plan to try it.
