I have two, one mains powered. Never had that screen.
My immediate suggestion is to check that the power supply you are using is rectified and within the voltage range. Then like all things electric test the supply on another B6. If that works then you know your B6 is faulty. To fix you would need serious test equipment and knowledge.
I replaced my "failed" B6 and still have it I just can't bring myself to chuck it out.

Hey man. I used a car battery that has 12 volts (that’s what is recommended voltage for the charger) and the screen is still there so voltage seems to not be the issue

This is the first time I have encountered such a malfunction. Alas, NO ONE will be able to give you advice, except to contact specialists in the repair of radio equipment. I could watch and repair it for free (if the screen matrix is working properly), but I live in Moscow and sending it back and forth will cost like a new charge. I can give you some advice: take a needle and a large magnifying glass and carefully look at all the legs that go to the monitor.I think you'll find a torn monitor leg.
