Hello, welcome, I am a new forum user.
I own a Spektrum DXS and the WS2000 dongle, binding is fine, Phoenix 6.0 starts up, but I am stuck in the controller setup. Phoenix complains about a missing USB adapter cable. What about it, thought WS2000 allows me to use it wireless? Any idea anyone?

I had to have my regular joystick plugged in with Phoenix - there's something about it using the physical joystick's hardware with the wifi usb adapter. There's a thread here with a link to a page that tells you how to do it. It's been a long while since I set it up though
