Help! Spektrum help please

Hi, I have the e-flite Opterra 1.2m flying wing and a DXs transmitter. Should the spektrum dxs spmr1010 transmitter work with a Spektrum A3235 flight controller? Or does it need a receiver added in as well? I can’t seem to get them to bind. Thank you

Your transmitter looks like it is not compatible as it says in the directions.
