JR X -378 with a Quadcopter

Hi all,

Trying to get back into the hobby after a long time away from it. I am looking at getting a flight test rotor bones quad to start with. So i can fly near home, not enough room for my planes. I have recently updated my old Jr 378 to 2.4ghz with the frsky module.

Will my radio be able to handle & quad.? It may be a silly question but I don't want to order it all and find the radio cannot handle it.

Thanks
Bruce

Hey Bruce,

Welcome to the Forum!

Most control boards handle all the mixing onboard. As long as you've got the 4 standard flight inputs, reverse, trim and rate countrol, on PPM and possibly a few extra in your RX for AUX functions, it should work . . . so that old JR 7ch should be just fine :)
