Well... It seems that I have completely forgotten about this thread and I forgot to post any updates here.
Well a while ago I made that little wingtip mock-up that I was talking about, and it went well so I finished the rest of the design work. I finished designing the thing sometime last month and spent the last few weeks building it. This week I really sped up my progress and just got it finished last night! I did some taxi tests and it has better ground handling than V1. I also did a couple short hops and it is real slow, so i have a good feeling about this one.
