KK2 Mini ESC Calibrating not working

Hi there,
i am trying to calibrate my Esc connected to a KK2 Mini. When i am trying to do the calibrating circle i can wait for hours for the 2 beeps that should say that the calibration worked.
i tried to use the starting mode to test the esc and motors, and when i pull up the throttel in this mode the motors start spinning - so they should work - in general.
Is this normal? Got anyone an idea what i can do?

thanks a lot

greetings

Hello mumbi:

Here are the typical steps to calibrate your ESCs on a KK2 board.

  1. Everything powered off and battery unplugged.
  2. Remove your props. Please do NOT skip this step.
  3. power on your transmitter and put the throttle to full
  4. hold the #1 and #4 button on the KK2 board
  5. power on the multi-rotor
  6. wait for the ESCs to beep indicating the full throttle position has been accepted
  7. Lower the throttle to minimum
  8. Wait a few seconds then let go of the KK2 board buttons.
  9. Your ESCs should now be calibrated.

Keep in mind depending on the firmware you have on your board you may have to add a step of selecting ESC calibration on next power up from the menu. So research is advised.

thanks for the reply. I have done exactly that but its not working.
I have researched for hours and havent found anything that helped.
i got firmware version 1.6 and hw-version 2.15 if that helps. Any idea?

They should have two lower tone beeps then a high tone beep as the LEDs on the ESC turn on. Is that what you're getting. That is normal.
