hey guys. i want to build a plane, unfortunatly foamboard in AUS is pricey and really heavy so im looking at the bulsa option.

im looking for a 38"ish wingspan cessna/taylorcraft type 3ch plane that i can build. im new to flying so this will hopefully take a few months to build while i practice more on my supercub.

kits are all great but shipping is a killer to Aus from most other countries so im thinking the scratch build option will be the go.

any suggestions on plans/patterns for this type of plane?

I don't know if you've seen this site, but http://www.outerzone.co.uk/ is the largest source of plans I have found. They have many, many versions of Cessna's, Pipers' Taylor crafts, etc in varying sizes. It is a little old fashion looking, but once you get the hang of how the site works, its pretty easy to navigate.
