Matek H743v3 not recognised in usb port

I have a couple of flight controllers which connect fine to my pc. Apart from my h743. It connects in bootloader mode and I can flash it and load software but when I plug in the usb device manager does not recognise anything. I have tried the cables ect on other fcs and they’re fine. I have removed all connections from the board and checked for any shorts etc but nothing.

I cant see STM32 Bootloader in the device list only DFU in FS mode

DFU is the bootloader. You need the driver for non-DFU mode.

They are installed and as i said when i plug in my matek 405wmn it appears in my device manager but my h743 doesnt

If you have device manager running when you plug the board in, does a device show up? If so, what does it show up as?

It sounds like windows didn't auto-assign the correct driver and you may need to manually pick the correct driver in device manager.

No nothings show up for the H743 but My 405 Wmn shows up in device manager straight away

no completely blank, no connection sound either.

Odd. I'd reach out to Matek and see if they have any ideas. Or the vendor you bought it from to see if they can exchange it.

I have an original H743-wing and never had any issues with it.
