Mini FPV 250 Class Quad Bind-N-Fly

Mini quads are almost indestructible and can do all the things that a full size one can do. I'm going to build something like this out of wood. The frame will be the one that I designed "I-Quad" off of the flite test H-quad. It will be painted flat black. The frame will be the same one that I used in my first H-quad build "I-Quad". Just scaled down to fit a 4 inch prop. I'll be using a 2200 3s, 12 amp ESCs, lightweight motors. I did the math and I can use a motor that weighs as much as 70g though lighter would be better. Still looking for the right motors. It is not much harder for me to make two or three mini quads, as it is for me to make one. Message me if you're interested in owning a Badass little I-Quad. You buy the parts for me to make 2 and when I'm done I'll ship one to you. I'll even pay for shipping of the finished product. after I receive the parts, It will take less then a week to finish it. All my build pics are on Facebook. My family and me are going through a extremely Difficult Financial situation at the present time. I'm trying to find creative ways to stay in the hobby. Any suggestions of ways to stay in the hobby are welcome.

Tom,

First off, I'd highly recommend going with the CF framing spec'ed in that build thread. Wood is *much* heavier and micro quads are super sensitve to weight. you'll have *much* poorer perfomance and shorter flight times for almost no cost reduction -- that's already a pretty cheap frame.

Second, Building and selling RTF kits others have designed and open-sourced is fair game -- maybe even a valuable service to modlers -- but lifting the desing, tweaking it and not *at least* mentioning the pettigree is pretty bad form. You are providing a service assmebling an testing these quads, well worth the price, assuming you have a customer at your set price. Don't steal the credit due the designer, *especially* if that's all he's asked for. Sure some will go the cheaper route and make it themselves, but isn't that what you've just done?

Not posting the link here myself . . . for now. I hope you'll do the right thing.
