Most difficult part of designing a plane

Fly, yes... Land, no
For me, it would have to be the tails. Just finding a shape that I like. I go through design after design until I find one I like, but then the next day I'll change my mind about it and start all over again. I do this all the time, agonizing over small details. you might think it would be how each part goes together, but no, not for me its the look of the stupid thing more than the assembly.

what about you guys, what is the hardest part about coming up with a design?

It's the main body that is my demise. I can see a design in my head but I can not seems to translate it to paper.........

I've never designed an airplane but in my scratch building the hardest part is whether or not to use scale airfoils. Sometimes its a good thing but others it can cause real stability issues that will make the plane a real bear. Being able to factor all the variables to make that decision is hard.
