I have both types of motors. IMO the Turnigy motor is okay but the adapter it comes with isn't desirable... They are known to fly off when they get some wear on them. The NTM motor is pretty good I have bought 4 and haven't had any issues but if you choose an NTM motor make sure you buy the "NTM Prop Drive 28 Series Accessory Pack" for each motor as it does NOT come with any adapters or hardware. The biggest issue people say about the NTM motors is the bearings aren't great. But for a motor that costs much less than a tiger or cobra what can you expect?

The Afro ESCs are good also. I run them on all of my multi rotors. The best thing about them IMO is you can update firmware without cutting the heat shrink off using this tool.
