Help! My esc just burned, I don’t know what I did wrong?

This is how it’s all supposed to be connected right?
20a esc, Ft radial motor 1806
650 mah mini star 2s lippo battery 7.4v 70c

Also do ft esc’s have a warranty?

Connecting the battery to the servo tester might be your problem. You connect the battery xt30 to the esc xt30 and the control wire to the servo tester as you have it.

We all make mistakes, you should have put the battrey to esc not the servo tester

It’s split in half if re wrap the write and I put electrical tape on it could I still use it?

It took quite a bit of current to melt the insulation. Replace the wires but I'll bet the esc is fried too.
