Hello FT forum community!
I have recently gotten into the rc hobby. I have built several FT planes (and crashed them) . I haven't been doing much flying recently, since it has been like zero degrees but I started designing an Icon A5. It will be the first plane I have designed. I am looking forward to building it.

Welcome aboard, Mikes! Happy to have you here. I googled the Icon A5. It looks like the FT Explorer with a boat hull. FT has a couple videos I can think of where they successfully put foamboard in the water. That's a great project, and I wish you luck with it!
