Working with foam is fun. So, decided to try an autogyro for something different and found a lot of info on RC Groups(leadfeather). Upside, added flapping blades and it sounded like a real heli, downside, well watch what happens.
This is former FT Peter S's transport from RC Groups where he started his career(I duplicated it) and scratch built the ejection rack (from metal coat hanger) and Space Shuttle with servos. First run, nailed the CG to get it to land.
Since it needed 2 pilots, bought balsa gliders and weighted them a slight nose down and a left wing heavy, then I could climb, drop it myself and it would circle down and land on the field if the wind were low.
