output pinout changes in betaflight

I'm trying to set my tricopter up on the latest version of beta flight. it seems like the pinout order on the output side is different then it was in cleanflight/triflight. in triflight the pinout was S1 S2 M1 M2 M3 then 5V on the #6 pin set. this did not work in beta flight. now it seems to be M1 M2 M3 ( for the motors anyway) and I have no idea where the servo connects as I have tried pinsets 4 and 5 and the servo does not respond. does this make sense.

i'm running naze 32 rev 6, x4rsb receiver, latest version of betaflight.

I'm not sure but I think this is the answer to my question. https://github.com/betaflight/betaflight/wiki/SERVO_TILT-for-3.1. just thought I'd post it in case someone else runs into the same thing. I am running triflight now but from my understanding the next version out will merge with betaflight so I was trying to get a step ahead. also read that the naze (F1) boards will not work well with beta flight 3.1 or later.
