Hey all,
So I'm new to all of this stuff, but did find a pretty nifty thing. When getting rid of excess foam (leaving the paper) for a joint, you can use a guitar pick (medium-ish to the light side of heavy) to cut through the foam. And as long as you're on a hard surface, the curved tip of the pick will leave the paper underneath it totally unharmed. Afterwards, you can usually just strip the foam away as one solid piece, without any excess foam remaining.
