Help! Real beginner here, no luck with FT Simple Cub

Obviously can't evaluate the Scout yet its not my plane to test fly (built it for my son), and haven't finished the Edge yet either. Hoping to build Hangers "Simple Stik" this month just started it, so let you know how that goes in a couple of weeks.
