This is my first plane after my Sport Cub S. I have flown a bunch of multirotors, but i wanted to get into fixed wing fpv.
i got the Mako from Readymade RC. Good price to start. I switched out the motor and prop combo (motor was actually bent) with a sunny sky 2212 1250kv, and 9x6 prop. A little slower, but has a a lot more thrust.
I started out with an APM, but i was having a lot of problems with it. Crashed 3 times on launch with that. Pulled it and tried stright from the RX. Worked fine, but my skills are a not quite there. SO i put a AR636 in it. Got it all programmed and it flies great. runs with a 3s 3600. Around 17min of flight.
iRC 600mw 5.8 vTX with gopro. EZOSD is on the way.
What a great beginner wing. Had to order a new winglet for it though... powered right into a tree...
