Welcome to the forums. Great looking plane.
In my opinion, flaps are not necessary on a floaty plane like the Cub. It’s going to land slowly as is, slowing to more is just not going to make much difference. On a warbird, flaps can make a significant difference.
I’m not a Spectrum guy so I can speak to the programming question.
