Spektrum DX8-G2 transmitter can use SRXL with bi-directional communications?

I have this transmitter. Spektrum confirmed this transmitter can use the SPM4650 receiver, but didn't answer if the transmitter supports the configuration options from the transmitter shown on the FT video on using SRXL receivers.

Anyone can say if this is true or false??
