Starting a (High) school modelling group

As stated in title,
I am starting with a group of 14-isch year olds building the Tiny Trainer, glider version.
It will be the glider version to prevent costs to go high and I do not have a budget.

I might also try to build the FT Explorer, glider version as well later on.

ANy tips would be apreciated

Prepare for impatience. If you are opening the club up to any student who says they are interested, just be aware that many may not have the interest in the building side of things.

I encourage you to push toward RC flight. If you have a few kids who are dedicated, then cultivate that interest and allow it to grow. Don't be afraid to require kids to spend money. It is something of value and I find that parents of dedicated kids don't mind spending a few dollars. And, you will be amazed at the drive and ability of a kid who is interested in a topic.
