Yeah they were always good right out of the bag, take quite a beating and will bend rather than breaking, so it's plausible to make it back if you hit a ghost branch. I check my props before EVERY flight on a quad. Bent props can cause all sorts of bad things. If it doesn't sound smooth in the air, I'll bring it down to recheck or replace the props.

I've had other props that looked good, but flew like poo.

Find what works for you, keep using it. If they fly like junk, dump em.

Motors running, or just sitting idle? How are you powering the VTX on the quad? Do you have a capacitor on the power leads where they connect to the ESC/FC?

Pictures could help. Both of the interference pattern on the screen, and the build.

Its just sitting on the desk next to me. I am powering it with a 4s lipo. Yes I do have a capacitor on the power leads but it gets its power through the FC at battery voltage. It's flashing bars so it will be hard to get pictures, so I will try to get a GIF soon.

This would make a nice "High End" motor

Okay so I swapped out the FC and it's working fine no (I made sure to clean the flux off good this time) so I don't know what is was......I will experiment with it later.

Hey guys! New to the forum! I am trying to make a very budget FPV set up for my RC airplane, something I can use around our land and am not super particular on fine video quality (I do want to be able to fly by FPV) but i am kinda lost on the whole process of FPV. The list of items below is kinda what i have settled on for my budget and i was hoping you guys could tell me if i have everything needed and which combination would be the best. Thanks!!

VTX

Camera

FPV screen

Antenna

I know what I would like........ But alas the wallet says "NO" lol

Thanks again guys!!!
IMHO the most important thing is the kit itself. I suggest you start with flying wing/delta wing. In my opinion, the best budget model is flying wing. Of course this type is pusher prop will gives you good results on camera. Very minimal vibration.. but if you have never flown with flying wing before, just start flying without fpv. and if you are good at it, install your fpv.
