The scout is dead

Hey guys, just got back into the hobby after ,20 years. I never was good, but the videos and planes from the guys at flite test brought me back. I started back with a ft scout in December with the power pack c. After several crashes and fixes I believe it to be past point of a straight flyer. I intend on buying the ft explorer and using same power pack. What all size props can I use with the c power pack on the explorer.

This took me about 30 minutes. The little homemade trainer on the left was retired, the Bixler was repaired and flown (and eventually wrecked) again, the P-51 was never quite the same.

On a 3s, based on some quick calculations, you're safe with any 8-inch prop. A 9x6 is the highest pitch 9-inch prop I would recommend. A 10x5 should be good too, and you could do a 10x7 but it actually makes less thrust on that than a 10x5 so I don't recommend it.

If you want to get crazy with 4s, you could run an 8x4 without overloading the motor. Any 7-inch prop should be fine as well.
