Variable Pitch Quad (plus rotortowing)

You guys should build a variable pitch quadcopter. There seem to be two methods out there:
  • Mechanical, like the MIT quad and presumably the Curtis Youngblood Stingray.
  • Software / reversing using a reversing ESC like UltraESC and a regular prop
Just an idea, and it seems like something you could have fun with. I'm not sure what kind of controller you could use for this, maybe that's the reason more people haven't done it.

Oh, and I don't think this deserves a separate post but check out these guys towing a glider with a quad! You could probably bang this together in an hour!
