Planning on getting the Batbones tricopter kit from flite test. Transmitter is confusing me. I am going to order the Turnigy 9XR, do I need a receiver, module plus receiver or what? Way more confusing than when I used to fly planes!!!
For the 9XR, you WILL need a module, JR compatible of whatever flavor you prefer. Also you will need a matching Rx to go with the module. Have you made any decisions on what protocol you are going to fly? Frsky, ORx/Spektrum, etc...
I always used the Futaba when I used to fly, but not a must have. Heard good things about the JR also. I am used to the mode 1, throttle on the left. Would like a module Rx combo if possible. Thanks for the reply.
