What was your favorite plane you ever built?

I would like to learn about people’s favorite planes/builds that they have created. Also, I would love the name of the plane, a short description, and if possible some photos.

The plane I am most proud of building is my AN124 Ruslan.

A combination of 3d printed wing ribs and fuselage formers covered with 3mm Depron. The engine nacelles are also printed and house 2205 quad motors driving 4 blade quad props so EDPs rather than EDFs.
Very light, just under 2kg ready to go. A hand launch and belly land. Batteries, ESCs and radio are in the wing so the fuselage is completely empty.

Horrendously tedious to make but it flies remarkably well and at something like a scale speed.
Much too delicate to fly in anything but a dead calm.
I am sure I won't build anything like it again!

My favorite plane has got to be The Hangar's Simple Stick, which happens to be in my profile picture. It was a good cruiser with a power pack B, but when I upgraded it to Power Pack C and a 9x6 prop it became even better! I took a bunch of planes to FliteFest this year, but I flew the Stick the most. It's stable, and I can do some aerobatics with it, so it's a good all-rounder!

Mine was a tailless diamond wing fpv plane, which had a prop in slot configuration, with big inlets that made it so the propeller (in-spite of being a prop in slot) had very little obstruction. It was very fast and very nimble, and got average flight times of around 18 minutes. It had a 40 inch wingspan and was 30 inches front to back at the midsection. It was called the NCCF2: Harpy.

Prettiest in the air is the Flite Test Master Series P-38. Really enjoyed building that one and it really looks great in the air. My favorite to fly is the Flite Test Simple Stick. I’ve built two. It s my go to plane in all situations (small area to fly, wind, etc). Really made me a much better pilot because I can throw it around and recover.

My two favorites were a big aileron combat kitten slope glider and a home built 2000 sq in big brother built to take out "Sultan" during one of his attacks

My favorite scratch build would have to be the OctoUFO that I designed using OpenSCAD and 3D printed with ABS. It is a sub 2" prop octocopter. I really need to upscale it to 3" now that I have a bigger printer and lightweight PLA is a thing.
