where to get hobby plywood?

No, the thin light ply we use isn't at the home stores. At least, none of the Home Depot's or Lowe's I've been in, and I'm them all over the place, all the time. Hobby and craft type stores will always be your best bet for light ply.

The Box Stores do have Formica style laminates that are a pretty good substitute for light ply.
