Wrong Antenna - Damage to the Tx?

I recently purchased my first FPV set up. I have the Fat Shark Attitude V2 with 250 Tx and 600TVL camera. I also purchased the right hand circular polarized antennas for goggles and Tx. I set my tricopter up with the camera and Tx. The range on my first flight was less than 100 meters before I lost signal. I figured I'd done something wrong. The end result is I determined I had purchased the antennas with RP-SMA connectors and not the SMA connectors. Oops! I put the stock antennas on and did some further flights. Being new to FPV I stayed close (less than 300 meters) and it seemed to work fine. There was no significant loss of signal. My question is did I damage the Tx by using the incorrect antenna?
